National Nutirition Week related celebrations were organised at Arya College Girls Section, Ludhiana.The programme comprised of poster-making competition on the importance of nutrition and health and preparation of nutritional dishes by students. This activity was successfully taken on by the Home Science Department at the college. Kirandeep Kaur of BA first year stood first in the poster-making competition while Nidhi Rana and Khushi of BA third year took second and third position respectively. The best nutritional dish award was given to Pallavi of BA first year whereas Swati Shukla of and khushi of BA third year acquired the second and third position respectively.Appreciating the efforts,Dr.S.M. Sharma, Secretary ACMC opined that youth should be connected with knowing the importance of good health and nutrition.Principal Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia motivated the students to eat healthy and nutritional food and asked to motivate others to do the same. Incharge, Dr.Mamta Kohli urged that the youngsters should come forward in opting the healthy diets and guided them on the importance of the same.The programme was facilitated by Dr.Rupinder Kaur of Home Science Department.
आर्य कॉलेज गर्ल्ज़ सेक्शन में राष्ट्रीय पोषण सप्ताह के उपलक्ष्य में कार्यक्रम का आयोजन
लुधियाना के आर्य कॉलेज गर्ल्ज़ सेक्शन होम साइंस विभाग द्वारा राष्ट्रीय पोषण सप्ताह मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम में पोषण और स्वास्थ्य के महत्व विषय पर पोस्टर मेकिंग एवं पौष्टिक व्यंजन बनाने की प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। पोस्टर मेकिंग में किरणदीप कौर ने प्रथम स्थान जबकि निधि राणा और खुशी ने क्रमशः दूसरा और तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया। सर्वश्रेष्ठ पौष्टिक व्यंजन का पुरस्कार पल्लवी एवं स्वाति शुक्ला और खुशी ने क्रमशः दूसरा और तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया। विभाग के इन प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए एसीएमसी के सचिव डॉ. एस.एम. शर्मा ने कहा कि युवाओं को अच्छे स्वास्थ्य और पोषण के महत्व को जानना चाहिए। प्राचार्या डॉ. सूक्ष्म आहलूवालिया ने छात्राओं को स्वस्थ और पौष्टिक भोजन खाने के लिए प्रेरित किया। प्रभारी डॉ. ममता कोहली ने युवाओं से स्वस्थ आहार अपनाने का आग्रह किया और उन्हें इसके महत्व के बारे में बताया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन गृह विज्ञान विभाग से डॉ. रूपिंदर कौर ने किया।

ਆਰੀਆ ਕਾਲਜ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਸੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਹਫ਼ਤਾ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੌਸ਼ਟਿਕ ਪਕਵਾਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਗਿਆ।ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਡਾ.ਐਸ.ਐਮ. ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸਕੱਤਰ ਏ.ਸੀ.ਐਮ.ਸੀ. ਨੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸੂਕਸ਼ਮ ਆਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਪੌਸ਼ਟਿਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ। ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਡਾ.ਮਮਤਾ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੇਧ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਡਾ.ਰੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ।
