Botony

Established in 1956, the Department of Botany is a full-fledged department conducting Undergraduate courses. Our mission is to strive for an excellent environment for learning and research in Botany and produce graduates equipped with skills necessary to fulfil their role in contemporary society. Our vision is to maintain our position as the premier department of higher learning and to further commit ourselves to academic excellence. We offer a three-year programme of B.Sc.(Medical). We have two well-equipped laboratories, out of which one lab is fitted with an over-head projector. The Department also maintains a Botanical Garden.
