The Department of Sociology offers an elective course in B.A. programme and aims to create social consciousness among the students and to provide them with comprehensive information about their own society and its issues. The vision of the Department is to provide the students best possible Teaching Environment encouraging the students to become good human beings and responsible citizens in the society.
