Practical resources that faster the enhancement of teaching are necessary for students to gain knowledge and experience the college promotes an excellence in teaching and other co-curricular activities by updating itself with latest facilities.
The college has a spacious, partially digitalized, air-conditional and well stocked library. It has more than 70800 books and subscribes to 22 newspapers and 12 periodicals or journals there is also provision of audio books and separate section for differently able students. This year, Braille software has been introduced in the library for visually handicap students. The library kept open to all students from 9 am -4 pm on all working days. It also provides books to students during exam days with deposit of security to develop the reading habit among the students, a library society conduct diff functions to develop the reading habit among the students, a library society is formed every year. The society conducts different functions to inspire the students to improve their reading habits.
The college has a botanical garden having different types of trees & strubs belonging to different groups of plants like angiosperms, gymnosperms, pteridophytes along with various medicinal plants. The students opting for botany are practically taken to this garden to observe the variety of flora.
The college has post graduate department of computer science & applications flourished with modernized fully AC computer labs along with internet with licensed software and projectors to promote quality education among the students.
The college has physical education department with gymnasium (both for boys and girls). It has qualified physical education teachers. The department has produced many players at the national and international level in various games and brought laurels to the college.
