Arya College, Ludhiana, hosted a solemn and inspiring convocation ceremony on September 20, 2025, where 500 students across multiple disciplines received their academic degrees. The event was graced by the Honorable Governor of Punjab, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria Ji, who served as the chief guest and delivered a motivational address to the young graduates.The ceremony, held in the college auditorium, reflected a blend of pride and hope as students, parents, and faculty witnessed the culmination of years of academic dedication. Graduates from disciplines including M.A. Political Science, M.A. History, M.Com., PGDMM, PGDCA, M.Sc. IT, B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Com., B.Sc., and B.A. were conferred their degrees in the presence of eminent dignitaries.Addressing the gathering, Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria Ji emphasized the importance of perseverance, discipline, and lifelong learning, reminding students that education is not only a means to personal success but also a responsibility toward the progress of society and the nation. He encouraged the youth to become innovators, leaders, and contributors to the vision of a progressive Punjab and a stronger India.Earlier in the program, Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia, Principal of Arya College, presented the annual report highlighting the institution’s achievements, new academic initiatives, research contributions, and the holistic growth of students. She reiterated the college’s resolve to continue nurturing talent, character, and ethical values among its students.The ceremony also witnessed the presence of members of the Arya College Management Committee (ACMC): Shri Sudarshan Sharma Ji (President), Shri Ashok Pruthi Ji (Vice President), and Dr. S.M. Sharma Ji (Secretary), who lauded the efforts of faculty and students for upholding the reputation of the institution. Adding further prestige to the occasion, Shri Jagdish Rai Singhal Ji, Chairman of Eastman Industries, presided over the second session of the event, encouraging the graduates to align their skills with the dynamic needs of industry and society.The convocation concluded on an uplifting note with the singing of the national anthem.
