Post Graduate Department of Computer Science of Arya College Ludhiana organized One day “Tech- Disha 2022” an online inter college competition. Around 200 students from 22 colleges of Punjab and Chandigarh participated in this competition . The competition included the events like Logo-Design, Digi- Poster, E-PPT, Techno Puzzle, Landing Page, Code Gulf and Crack the Code.
In Logo Design, Sejal of SDP college for women , Ludhiana stood First, Simran Ghatore of Guru Nanak Khalsa College For women ,Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town Ludhiana won the Second Prize and Gautam of KLSD College, Ludhiana and Ankita Gupta of Khalsa College for Women Civil Lines, Ludhiana won the Third Prize.
In Digi-Poster, Gurmani Kaur of Khalsa College for women, Civil lines, Ludhiana stood First Shivani of Goswami Ganesha Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Chandigarh. won the Second Prize and Manchet Kaur and Harsheen Kaur of Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women Ludhiana won the Third Prize.
In E-PPT, Shivam of Arya College Ludhiana and Jagriti of Dev Samaj College for Women, Sec 45 B, Chandigarh stood First, Gurmani of Khalsa College for Women Civil Lines Ludhiana and Radhika of GGDSD, Sector -32, Chandigarh won the Second Prize and Krishna of Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women and Shaheen of Arya College Girls Section, Ludhiana won the Third Prize.
In Techno Puzzle, Taniya Dhall of Khalsa College for women, Ludhiana stood First, Aarushi Mahajan of Khalsa College for women, Ludhiana won the Second Prize and Ashutosh of KLSD College, Ludhiana won the Third Prize
In Landing Page, Sidhant of KLSD College, Ludhiana stood First, Jagdeep of GGN Khalsa College , Ludhina won the Second Prize and Pardeep of SCD College, Ludhiana and Simranpreet of GNIMT , Ludhiana won the Third Prize
In Code Gulf, Armaan Singh of GNIMT College, Ludhiana stood First, Jatin Mishra of SCD Govt. College, Ludhiana won the Second Prize and Vishal Kumar of Arya College, Ludhiana won the Third Prize.
In Crack the code, Simarjit Singh of GNIMT, Ludhiana stood First, Bhawar Gujral of Arya college, Ludhiana won the Second Prize and Vishal Kumar of Arya college, Ludhiana won the Third Prize.
The main purpose of the event was to develop and encourage technical skills among the students. Secretary ACMC Mrs. Satisha Sharma said that she is proud of the department for organizing such a creative fest. In her address, Principal Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia, appreciated the efforts of the department and inspired the students to continue their efforts in future too. Dr. Rama Bansal, Incharge Dept. of Computer Science said that the event has provided a platform to the budding innovative minds and acknowledged the untiring efforts of her team in making the event a grand success.
