Language Society of Arya College in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell organised an Inter College Poem Recitation Contest on 25 th February, 2023. As many as 15 teams from different esteemed colleges of Punjab took part in this literary competition. Secretary ACMC Dr. S M Sharma appreciated the joint venture of all the Language Departments for the beautiful show of aspiring and would be poets. Presiding over the programme Principal Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia offered all the teams from different colleges a warm welcome. She said that poetry has a purgative function to perform and it soothes the distressed minds.
Ms.Anamika and Ms. Preeti were the judges in the event. In this contest, Noordeep Kaur Of GHG Institute of Law was adjudged First, Harmanpreet Kaur of Khalsa College for Women and Preeti Kumari of Ramgarhia Girls College received Second Prize. Harleen of Aurobindo College for Commerce and Saruti of A S College Khanna were given the Third Prize. All the prize winners were honoured and given Prizes while certificates of participation were given to all the contestants.
