The Sanskrit and Hindi Department of Arya College Girls’ Section organized an essay writing competition on the occasion of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati’s birth anniversary. The topic of essay writing in this competition was- ‘Maharshi Dayanand’s contribution to women’s education’. The purpose of this event was to make the students aware of Maharishi Dayanand’s life, his teachings and his contribution to the society. ACMC Secretary Dr. S.M. Sharma said that such competitions enable the students to take inspiration from great personalities. Principal Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia vocalised that the students should achieve their goals by proper efforts while following the ideals of Maharishi Dayanand ji. Incharge Dr. Mamta Kohli voiced that just as Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Ji kept trying to educate women and uplift their lives, in the same way girl students will always keep taking steps to move forward in their lives.

आर्य कॉलेज गर्ल्ज़ सेक्शन के संस्कृत एवं हिंदी विभाग द्वारा महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती जी की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में निबंध लेखन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। इस प्रतियोगिता में निबंध लेखन का विषय था-‘नारी शिक्षा में महर्षि दयानंद का योगदान’। इस आयोजन का उद्देश्य छात्राओं को महर्षि दयानंद के जीवन, उनकी शिक्षाओं और समाज में उनके योगदान से अवगत करवाना था। एसीएमसी के सचिव डॉ. एस.एम शर्मा ने कहा कि ऐसी प्रतियोगिताएं छात्राओं को महान् विभूतियों से प्रेरणा लेने में सक्षम बनाती हैं। प्राचार्या डाॅ. सूक्ष्म आहलूवालिया ने कहा कि महर्षि दयानंद जी के आदर्शों का पालन करते हुए छात्राओं को उचित प्रयासों से अपना लक्ष्य प्राप्त करना चाहिए। प्रभारी डॉ. ममता कोहली ने कहा कि जिस प्रकार महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती जी महिलाओं को शिक्षित करने एवं उनके जीवन को ऊपर उठाने के लिए प्रयासरत रहे उसी प्रकार छात्राएं भी अपने जीवन में आगे बढ़ने के लिए सदैव कदम उठाती रहेंगी।
