Deptt.of English, Arya College Girls Section celebrated International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination under the banner of IQAC on 21st March 2022. This day is celebrated in the world since 1966 when it was declared by United Nations. As many as 19 students participated in the activity. Students prepared PPTs on the poems of poets who wrote on Racial Discrimination. ACMC secretary Ms. Satisha Sharma praised the unique efforts of students and encouraged them to do little efforts to celebrate racial discrimination day and ensure safe public participation of all in nation-building.
Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia Principal Arya College said that we should reaffirm the importance of full respect for the rights of all. The PPT of Ms. Shaheen Parveen of B.A.3rd year was adjudged 1st,. PPT of. Ms. Vishwadeep of B A.2nd was adjudged 2nd and third prize was shared by Aditi of B.A.3rd and Koshtika of B.A. 1st year.
