NSS Unit of Arya college organised a Cleanliness and Plantation Drive at Village Jassian. The village Jassian has been adopted by NSS Unit of the college . Under this campaign, the premises of Gurudwara Sahib, Primary School of the village and Cooperative Society were cleaned and trees were planted over there with the cooperation of Harjeet Singh Cheema, Sarpanch of the Village and S. Gurpreet Singh, Nambardar of the village. NSS Volunteers along with residents of the village, took pledge to look after these plants. Secretary ACMC Smt. Satisha Sharma said that it is our primary responsibility to keep our surroundings clean so that our forthcoming generations can breath in healthy environment. Motivating the NSS Volunteers, Principal Dr. Suksham said that service of humanity is the greatest service and plantation of trees is also a part of the same. As many as 30 volunteers participated in this drive.
