International Women’s Day was celebrated with great fervor today in the Girls Section of Arya College. This program was organized under the aegis of IQAC of the college.In this program, the girls played the roles of inspirational female characters and enacted their wonderful and exemplary personalities. The main attraction of the event was the exhibition organized by the Department of Fashion Designing and Tailoring, in which the students displayed and sold their handmade things. The enthusiasm of seeing and buying handmade things was seen in the students and staff.ACMC secretary Ms Satisha Sharma graced the occasion and motivated the students to do their duties diligently in the family. Principal Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia said that as a woman our duties are enhanced towards the society and nation. Participants were honored at the end of the function.
