75th Athletic Meet at Arya College
Celebrated with great fanfare on 17 February 2023. In which various sports events like-
100 meters race, 200 meters race, 400 meters race, relay race, long jump, hurdles, javelin throw, shot put, tug of war etc. were organized. More than 700
students enthusiastically participated in various programs while enhancing their physical fitness. The main attraction of the day was the fancy dress show and Karate performance by the students. Pillow fighting added to the enjoyment of the programme. The chief guest on this occasion was Smt. Sukhchain Kaur Bassi wife of Honorable MLA Mr. Gurpreet Bassi Gigi
ACMC, Secretary, Dr. SM Sharma appreciated the enthusiasm of the students.
Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia, Principal, Arya College welcomed the member of Arya College Management Committee Mr. Arun Sood showered his blessings on the students and encouraged them to participate more and more and presented the annual report of the college . On this occasion, NCC cadet Rahul Malhotra of the college, who participated in the National Republic Day Parade, and Muskan, a student of the college, who won the mimicry competition at the university level in the Youth Festival and reached the national level, were also honoured. The program ended with the national anthem. Gurinderjeet Singh of BA lllwas adjudged the best player and Janvi Bisht of BSc ll was declared the best athlete among the girls. Cadet Corporal Rahul Malhotra from 4PB Sqn Air Wing NCC Unit was also honoured for his distinguished achievements in the field. was also honoured as he was the cThe results of various events of the sports festival were as follows-
