Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Arya College Ludhiana, in collaboration with Dainik Bhaskar organised a blood donation camp in college campus. Dr. Savita Uppal , Principal of the college led the volunteers in blood donation. In her motivational speech for the students she said ‘ Blood Transfusion is a vital component’ of health care. Every second, someone in the world needs blood . Millions of people owe their lives to people they will never meet. She encouraged the donors to donate blood regularly.
Mrs. Satisha Sharma , Secretary ACMC , appreciated the efforts of IQAC and emphasised the need for more and more requirement of such camps working towards the social cause.
Mrs . Suksham Ahluwalia, Coordinator IQAC, expressed her heartiest thanks to the Civil Hospital Doctors/ Staff , Print Media and students for their contribution in this noble cause . The blood donation camp witnessed good response and total 50 units of blood were collected.
