Post Graduate Department of Punjabi in collaboration with I.Q.A.C Arya College Ludhiana organised an Extension Lecture on the scientific aspect of The Unstuck Mystic Sound- Anhad Naad in Guru Nanak Bani . Prof. Rajinder Singh (Retired) ,GGN Khalsa College, Ludhiana was invited as the keynote speaker. Dr. Satish Joshi, Head Department of Punjabi, formally welcomed the keynote speaker and introduced him to the audience. In his lecture Prof. Rajinder Singh not only shed light on the concept of Anhad Naad in human life but also described his personal experience about the blissful state of meditation and gave satisfactory answers to the questions of the students. Mrs. Satisha Sharma ,Secretary ACMC, lauded the efforts of the Punjabi Department for such an inspiring event. Principal Dr. Suksam Ahluwalia said that in today’s fast paced life concentration can be achieved only through meditation. Dr. Raman Sharma and Mrs. Neelam played the role of moderators and thanked the keynote speaker and the audience. Ms. Kumud Chawla, Dean Arts Faculty, Dr. Anil Gupta, Dr. Sonia Sharma, Prof. Pooja Gaur, Dr. Sunder Singh, Prof.Amarpreet Singh and other staff members were present on the occasion.
