PG Department of Computer Science of Arya College, Ludhiana organized a Metaverse Concert in collaboration with Volga Academy for the students of BCA and PGDCA. Principal Dr. Sukhsham Ahluwalia welcomed the guests from Volga Infosys, Mr. Shivam Kumar (the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer), Mr. Nirvan Bhardwaj (Co-Founder and Head Strategic Partnerships), Mr. Sarang Sharma (Lead Metaverse and Game Developer), Ms. Pallavi Pal (Academic Counsellor) and Ms. Surbhi Mahajan (Academic Counsellor). Mr. Nirwan Bhardwaj was the key speaker who enlightened the students about the metaverse technology. He discussed the topic of metaverse with real-world scenarios and guided the students about the technology to be used in the future. The students virtually experienced the metaverse technology through VR Devices and practically enriched themselves with the latest upcoming future world. It was a fruitful experience for the students to learn about the metaverse.
Dr. S. M. Sharma, Secretary ACMC, appreciated the efforts of the Computer Science department. College Principal Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia encouraged students to actively participate in this type of event which is important for IT Students to update themselves with the latest technology.
