Arya College Ludhiana dripped in the colours of Teej Festivities. The teachers presented a beautiful blend of colours in their Punjabi attires. There was also a cultural programme including Punjabi folk songs and giddha. ACMC, secretary Ms Satisha Sharma and ACMC,member Dr. Savita Uppal were the guests of honour. They were full of appreciation for organisation of programme in such a short notice. Principal Dr. Suksham Ahluwalia said that it has been a tradition of the college to celebrate such festivals. She also appreciated the enthusiasm with which teachers took part in the celebrations to make the event a grand success. The teachers recited poems and sung songs commemorating the months of ‘sawana’. Ms Charu Sharma from Deptt. Of Political Science was crowned with the title of Teej Queen.Dr Rama Bansal and Dr Tajinder Bhatia also won prizes in games .
